Semen Helps Fight Depression In Women Study Shows

Before reaching for an antidepressant or sleeping pill, have sex, it will relax you and help you sleep better, a new study shows.

Researchers examined the effects of the semen’s mood-altering chemicals.

The research showed that seminal fluid contains chemicals that elevates mood, increases affection, induces sleep and also contains at least three antidepressants.

Semen contains other chemicals along with spermatozoa, such as cortisol, which is known to increase affection, estrone, which elevates mood and oxytocin, which also elevates mood.

Semen also contains thyrotropin releasing hormones, which is an antidepressant, melatonin which is a sleep-inducing agent and even serotonin, which is the best known antidepressant neurotransmitter.

Based on these findings, State University of New York scientists conducted a survey comparing women’s sex life and their mental health, in which semen proved to benefit women, who have unprotected sex.
Other recent findings from Gallup laboratory indicate that women, who are exposed to semen, perform better at cognitive tasks.
